The Haelli
The name ‘HAELLI’ comes from HELLI (short of Haveli), a commonly used synonym for huge ancestral homes in the villages of Haryana. The name signifies a deep rooted connection to our culture.
We started off in 2016 creating 100% handcrafted and hand-painted juttis, which were one of a kind and first-ever throughout India, as an experiment and a product of sheer love for creativity. And very soon it turned into a fun trend with the amazing love and appreciation we received from our customers and followers. That trend broke a few stereotypes as we aimed to bring forth something which is fun and fashionable and at the same time resonates with one’s personal style by keeping intact the essence of our traditional wear.
To fulfill the gap and expand our creativity horizon, we launched a new category for sarees in 2020. Our aim was to bring forth a collection which appeals to all age groups and every occasion. With our quirky prints, bold colors and non-conventional palette schemes, we wanted to showcase 6 yards of pure elegance to not just be a festive or traditional attire but a complete package in itself which represents one's personality.
Since then it's been just an adventure to connect with different artisans all over India to bring the best amalgamation of handloom, handcraft and creativity for our lovely HAELLI fam we have built along these years.
